Rachel Nycklemoe, MPS, LADC

Rachel uses a person-centered approach when working with clients. She uses motivational interviewing and CBT interventions early on to assist adolescents in developing a toolbox of skills to help manage their mental health and chemical health symptoms. Rachel believes it is important to meet teens where they are at, and create a safe and therapeutic space for transformation to take place. She focuses on fostering a therapeutic relationship where adolescents can feel supported, accepted, encouraged, and challenged. Rachel found her passion early in her career in working with teenagers. She enjoys assisting teens as they explore their own values and goals as they navigate identity development. Rachel enjoys working with teens with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns and has experience working in both residential and intensive outpatient settings. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, being outside, finding ways to be creative and spending time with friends and family.
